Remote Management
This ASUS IPMI expansion card delivers a breakthrough remote management solution for motherboards that have overclocking capabilities but not an onboard baseboard management controller (BMC). It benefits applications ranging from financial market trading for high-performance systems, to remote monitoring and real-time troubleshooting.
Accurate Fan Control
To provide real-time system temperature and dynamic fan-curve adjustments for lower fan power consumption, customizable settings for a given temperature source deliver more accurate results to control the rotational speeds of up to eight chassis fans.
* It requires the BMC header on the expansion card to connect the motherboard to be able to set one of motherboard sensors as a temperature source.
Real-time Hardware Monitoring
Multiple embedded sensors detect the real-time status of devices across an internal network, including temperatures, fan speeds and voltages, empowering system administrators to identify failures and reduce outage risks through efficient troubleshooting delivery.
* It requires the BMC header on the expansion card to connect the motherboard to be able to read real-time sensor data. Otherwise, it only captures data from the power-on self-test.
Remote Power Control
System administrators can remotely monitor the power status of multiple devices at once to quickly turn them on or off, cycle power, or initiate hard resets. This can both reduce friction in the IT workflow and deliver energy cost savings.
Multiple Management Interfaces
Multiple management interfaces are available to give IT admins flexible options to manage devices remotely. The web console is straightforward, with a user-friendly interface to quickly access common features. Meanwhile, admins who prefer a text-based interface can also interact with IPMI-enabled devices via the command prompt.
