This product is an improved model that uses a non-slip rubber material. It is also useful for upgrading the piles of the traditional Gitzo monopod or tripod (all models with 3/8 screw on the end of the leg). The large peg has a 2.0 inches (50 mm) diameter of the surface to ensure excellent stability even on slippery surfaces and soft sands. When used with a monopod, the ball provides smooth movement and makes it easier to track moving subjects.
